Warehouse Coordinator
<p>Working as part of the supply chain team, the <strong>Stores Operative</strong> will play a key role in managing incoming deliveries, maintaining stock control and supporting production through timely replenishment of materials. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, organisation and a proactive approach within a busy environment.</p><p><br></p><p>The <strong>Stores Operative</strong> will be responsible for:</p><ul><li>Receiving, checking and accepting deliveries of components and materials</li><li>Booking goods into the system and routing parts to the next stage in the process (e.g. inspection)</li><li>Storing materials in allocated locations while maintaining FIFO, traceability and handling requirements</li><li>Monitoring line‑side stock levels and replenishing materials in line with Kanban or 2‑bin systems</li><li>Conducting inventory checks and supporting stock accuracy through regular counts</li><li>Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workspace in line with 5S and company standards</li></ul><p><br></p><p>The <strong>Stores Operative</strong> will have:</p><ul><li>Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or goods receiving environment.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to handle precision or sensitive components.</li><li>Basic IT skills, including experience with ERP or stock management systems.</li><li>Good numerical skills and stock control awareness.</li><li>Understanding of health & safety practices within a manufacturing environment.</li><li>A proactive, reliable approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you enjoy working in a hands‑on, fast‑moving environment and take pride in accuracy, organisation and supporting production operations, we’d be interested to hear from you.
