Site Checks and Maintenance Volunteer (Vehicle Maintenance Volunteer)

We're looking for a reliable volunteer to help us keep our vehicles and machinery safe, clean and ready for use at Pagham Harbour Reserve.

The role involves carrying out the required weekly vehicle checks ideally every Friday, though there can be some flexibility, as well as monthly vehicle and machinery checks, cleaning and routine maintenance.

Experience and familiarity with vehicle maintenance is essential, although this does not need to have been gained in a professional capacity. Familiarity with machines such as brushcutters and chainsaws, and the relevant certifications, would also be beneficial.

Support will be provided by RSPB staff whilst the applicant gets to grips with the role, all PPE and equipment will be provided.
