[Remote] Jr Software Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support the development and maintenance of software applications. The role involves coding, testing, troubleshooting, collaborating with senior developers and cross-functional teams, supporting deployments and integrations, and participating in Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following development standards
- Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement new features
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from team members
- Assist in software deployment, monitoring, and maintenance activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support integration of third-party applications and services
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–2 years of software development experience
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Understanding of software development principles and best practices
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Basic knowledge of source control tools such as Git
- Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and software architecture concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills. English Level B2 required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Internship, academic projects, or personal software development projects
- Experience with cloud platforms such as reputed company Azure, AWS, or reputed company Cloud
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
