Assistant Bookkeeper/Data Entry - Remote | South Africa | Part-Time, EST Overlap

Safhire is an outsourcing company that places skilled South African professionals into remote roles supporting US-based businesses. We're looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper/Data Entry specialist to support a client with day-to-day financial data entry in QuickBooks. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and have a financial background, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Enter financial data accurately into QuickBooks
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records
• Review entries for accuracy and flag discrepancies
• Support basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
• Communicate with the team regarding data entry status and questions

What We're Looking For:

• Strong computer and keyboarding skills
• Experience with QuickBooks required
• Background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
• Availability part-time with overlap into EST hours
